These menu items are made using gluten-free ingredients based on information from our suppliers. However, due to our current kitchen space, only the pizzas listed on our separate Gluten-Free pizza menu can be prepared using GIG’s certified procedures. These non-certified menu items are prepared in shared cooking and preparation areas and may not be completely free from gluten. Guests should inform a manager of any gluten intolerance and consider individual dietary needs when ordering. Before placing your order, please inform a manager if anyone in your party has a food allergy or dietary restriction and consult our Allergen & Vegetarian/Vegan Menu Guide. Normal kitchen operations involve shared cooking and preparation areas and cross-contact with other foods may occur during production or we may need to substitute ingredients in menu items. We are therefore unable to guarantee that any menu item is completely free from any particular allergen or animal product, and we assume no responsibility for guests with food allergies, food sensitivities or dietary restrictions (unless it is a certified gluten-free pizza).

Job Work/Life BalanceCompensation/BenefitsJob Security/AdvancementManagementJob CultureQuick-paced and fun enviornment with great people.Dinner Shift Leader/Bartender (Current Employee) – San Antonio, TX – May 18, 2017A typical day at California Pizza Kitchen consists of being on your feet for half a day or all day. It is also a face-paced environment that requires a lot of multitasking. I learned how to be very personable, how to work as a team, and the job increased my multitasking skills. The management is the best anyone could ask for. They are helpful, good listeners, and encouraging in every shift. The workplace culture is laid back, but professional. The staff makes you feel like you are part of a family. The hardest part of the job is the multitasking aspect of it. There is a very small margin for error because it can cause the restaurant to fall behind on a busy day and create unhappy customers. The most enjoyable part of the job is the fun staff, the great customers you get to meet on a daily basis, and, of course, the food!ProsMeeting great people, working with a fun a teamConsShort or no breaks, no set wage per hourWas this review helpful?Yes- No- Report

The hardest part of my job, was the hours. In the 3 years i worked there, we had a GM and 4 managers leave. So I was always short 1 to 2 managers, the whole time I worked there. So 6 and 7 day work weeks, where a must.ProsI loved the fast pace and open kitchenConsThe company needs to do something, to keep managersWas this review helpful?Yes- No- Report
